| For those of you that not only want to see most of the popular sites of Vancouver and Whistler, but also want to experience the super natural side for British Columbia as well. Adventure touring allows you to experience the Canadian wilderness, so bring your camera. Other essential to bring are good shoes and an all weather jacket (as we are in a rain forest). Tours are available from May to October, however special arrangements can be made outside those dates. Vancouver and Whistler 4X4 SUV Wilderness Adventure Tour
This guided 8 hour tour gives a chance for the adventuresome to get away from the crowds and share with fellow guests a 4x4 experience on backroad trails as well as some regular roads with many stops. The participants will be able to enjoy wonderful views of beautiful British Columbia in a comfortable 4X4 SUV from vantage points not normally accessible to tourists or even some locals. The convoy starts in downtown Vancouver and will explore several tourist areas with a special emphasis on popular attractions, including driving down Robson Street then go through the world famous Stanley Park and enjoying a breathtaking view of the city and surrounding area at the Cypress Mountain lookout. A third stop at Shannon Falls provides the opportunity to view an amazing rush of water down the mountainside before continuing the adventure... After arriving in Whistler, the convoy then heads off road and into the wilderness where guests will partake in a gourmet BBQ lunch amongst the mountains. After lunch the tour stops in Squamish to spot some eagles before heading back to Vancouver. The drive home will take participants through historic Chinatown, then past both BC Place (home of the BC Lions) and GM Place (home of the Vancouver Canucks).
